History, has it, though surprisingly, that
Nigeria’s proposed official flag carried the contemporary
Green-White-Green signifying virgin agriculture, peace, which
incidentally remains our nations backbone economy and virtue, and, a red
sixteen sided sun. Please click here for further reading on this. This however, is a mere coincidence and is no way related to the former. However the objectives, ethical beliefs and values remain matched.
NIPCO Plc has a logo in Red, Green and White, with NIPCO boldly written
inside the logo in white. NIPCO logo has a 16 sided star in Red, a
Green-White-Green segment in the star depicting the economy’s flagship.
In the normal color lingo, red signifies power. In some cultures, red
signifies purity, joy and celebration. Red is the color of happiness and
prosperity and is used to attract good luck.
White, on the other hand, signifies cleanliness, innocence and softness.
White is used to give added value to any shape, or any other color it is
mixed or matched with. In some cultures, white is considered as the
color of peace and the color of humanity.
Green is usually considered the color of life. It’s abundant in nature
and also means growth, renewal and environment. With both warming and
cooling effect, the color green denotes balance, harmony and stability.
